COVID-19: AREWA BLOGGERS LAUNCHS CAMPAIGN TO HELP VULNERABLE, SENSITIZE PEOPLE

The Arewa Bloggers Association in collaboration with Hausa online media organizations has launch a campaign that will work tirelessly to help the vulnerable persons and needy during this trying time of pandemic Corona Virus. The group also pledges to sensitize people at all levels on preventive measures against the disease.
The Online platforms includeJaridar Rariya, Jaridar Mikiya, Dokin Karfe TV, Zuma Times Hausa, Jaridar Manuniya, Biyora TV, Jaridar Madubi-H, Maibiredi TV, Jaridar Hausa Linzami, Jaridar Hausa Daily Times, which all agreed to work hand-in-hand to contain the spread of the Covid-19 and also to generate donations from people who are willing to help the masses who could not get what to eat at the moment.
During this trying time everyone believes that people, especially the masses, are in desperate need of what to eat and the ways to make it in their life. As such we will use the opportunity we have as online bloggers to appeal to rich and wealthy persons whether government, associations or individuals to give their contributions in order to make life easier for the vulnerable.
The world entirely is witnessing a serious setback in economy which leads to deterioration of marketing activities and causes hunger amongst the people. With total lockdown of borders, states and restriction of movement in many countries, there is great need for the wealthy to look into the situation of the masses, as many of them could not get what to eat, especially in Nigeria.
In addition to helping the poor and needy, we also realized that some people are yet to believe in the existence of the COVID-19 due to lack of sensitization and adequate knowledge of what it is all about. Some are even saying the disease is meant for the rich persons and politicians. Sequel to this we found it necessary to embark on a sensitization campaign to educate and enlighten those types of people on dangers and preventive measures of the disease.
We will therefore use this opportunity to call on people to donate to this foundation, no matter how little, as with what you offer we can save lives.
